Things I Don’t Like About Fling’s Dating Site
I’ve tried all the dating sites out there. From the “hey let’s meet someone in my niche” (like FitnessSingles) all the way to the “hey let’s just forget dating and take our pants off if we are attracted to each other.”
You may be shocked to hear this, (or maybe not) but I actually like the ones that are the latter.
Reason being, I’ve had a few relationships get very deep, very far, and very close to marriage. In each of those relationships, I’ve been cheated on, betrayed, stolen from, or lied to about something that’s just not something that needs to be lied about. In short, I’ve about given up on the whole marriage thing at this time in life, so I’m just out there on the prowl, and not looking for more than someone fun who has the mutual interest in some no strings attached fun.
I’ve found that the users of adult dating type websites are into that same mentality. Sure, there are many sites that completely suck, but there are a few that can deliver a good time, especially if your location has to close to a city with some population. I’m going to highlight the sites that have worked for me since early 2016, and today I’m honing in on one that is my absolute favorite: Fling.
My Fling Dating Experience
This website is for people who want a sex life without the commitment and drama that comes with being dating. I like to call this niche “fling dating.” This particular website I’m reviewing today offers it all: in person hook-ups and romances, swingers, couples, and for those of you who are just too lazy to leave your computer, cyber sex. It’s very easy to sign up and get started, which attracted me to the site. What kept me there, well, that was the success I had. It didn’t come easy, and I had to be an active user of the site to really get the ball rolling, but once I did, boy did it roll fast.
I’m in Miami, so having the South Florida area to pull talent from is a big plus. While there are many cities in the USA with larger populations, I feel like South Florida has a lot more singles, and just about everyone I know is from somewhere else outside of Florida originally, (even Tim of course) so that means that their social circles don’t run as deep. If you are looking to get into the adult oriented content and racy photos right away, you’ll be happy that Fling offers that and much more. With over 4 million users on their application, you’ll have plenty of people to look at!
One of the features worth pointing out is the level of hotness rating that they include on members profiles. There is an icon of a match stick which ignites brighter and brighter as the person with the profile becomes more active on the app or website. Another feature worth mentioning is that users can verify the authenticity of their accounts by adding a webcam to the site. “Real” users get a badge that identifies them as legitimate profiles that have been through the verification process. Typically I don’t spend too much time on profiles that don’t have much activity, but that’s just me.
The Fling Website Guarantee
Fling offers a pretty solid guarantee: if you fail to meet someone in the first three months of being a paid member, you will get three months comped. I did well in about three weeks there, so this never came into play for me, personally.
What’s great is that during my Fling review period, (this is what I refer to as the part where I really spent hours per day messaging women) I used a free trial offer. This gave me access to photos, live webcams, and even chat rooms. I liked what I saw, so I became a paying member (more on that later) and got the unlimited messaging and started really amping up my efforts.
Sexual preference and fetishes (like interracial, phone sex, and much more vulgar stuff)
Hobbies (find people who like your music, wine, foodies, etc.)
Places you hang out
As mentioned, there is a free trial period, but in addition to that, some of the other features that make the Fling dating site review stand out as #1 in my book include:
The guarantee – very strong and admirable. They clearly want members to enjoy their experience.
Customer support. I find them to be very attentive in this department.
It’s really up to you how you use the Fling dating app. You have millions of users with the same goal in mind at your finger tips. See who is online, search by your interests, or just be that guy who signed up to see all the kinky photos and videos. Personally, I like to message the women I’m interested in and meet them out for a drink (preferably a fine tequila) and see where it takes us.
With any review, having an open mind is key, and while this is my preferred dating app (although I do use others, which I note below) there are some con’s. They obviously didn’t deter me from keeping my membership active, but they are worth pointing out.
This happens on all dating sites and apps. It’s part of the game. People (or robots, lol) have agenda’s, and now that catfishing is a “thing,” it just happens. People suck, sometimes.
If you are new to online dating, you could find the interface a bit of information overload. I’m fairly savvy and it took me a few attempts to master it. Nothing to be afraid about, as support is really good if you ever have questions.
You have to have an Android to have the app use. I use Apple, which means I just use the website. Not a biggie for me. A big deal would be switching to Android.
Of course, all of this is made up for by the member base being very active and looking for sex, as well as the customer support being on point.
Overall, my Fling review gives them a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’m an active member, and my sex life is strong, thanks to Fling.
